Nicki Minaj has promptly responded to a new $5 million lawsuit filed against her by one of her own fans. On Sunday (August 25), TMZ reported that the rapper is facing legal action from a self-proclaimed fan named Tameer Peak, who is seeking a hefty sum as compensation for reputational harm, emotional distress, and financial loss. In the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, Peak claims that, in addition to being a loyal fan of Nicki’s for over 15 years, he actively worked to he

lp promote her latest album, Pink Friday 2.
However, Peak alleges that his idol turned against him around 2017, accusing him and othersof being “paid moles” who were out to sabotage her during what the documents refer to as her “Nicki hate train phase.” Tameer Peak claims that the rapper of “FTCU” once invited him to her hotel with the sole purpose of humiliating him on IG Live in front of 100,000 fans. He also recounts being allegedly battered by her husband, Kenneth Petty, during an encounter at a Super Bowl weekend event in 2020, an incident which he says Nicki later alluded to in an Instagram DM.

At some point this year, Peak says he started hearing from others that Nicki “wanted him to stop saying dumb shit.” She also purportedly started talking about him during her popular Stationhead live chats on X (formerly Twitter), once saying “It’s clear they’re not necessarily, you know, a full basket umm at the picnic.”Nicki Minaj also allegedly said that Peak was “one sandwich short of a picnic” and referred to him as a “stalker,” claiming he was impersonating members of her team.

Shortly after reporting on the lawsuit, TMZ received a statement from the superstar’s att
orney offering her side of the story. “Mr. Peak has been harassing Nicki on social media for years on end to no avail,” attorney Judd Burstein told the outlet. “He has now graduated to seeking to shake her down financially with manifestly false allegations and legally frivolous claims. He will regret having gone down this disreputable road when he is forced to pay her legal fees as required by California law.”
Just last week, Nicki Minaj scored a major victory in a settlement with a blogger who accused her of serious misbehavior. Minaj settled her suit against Marley “Nosey Heaux” Green, a blogger who posted a video about the star back in September 2022 claiming that she was a “cokehead.”
According to TMZ, the terms of the settlement include Green admitting that everything she said
about the Pinkprint rapper and cocaine was untrue and that she had no evidence for her claims. In addition, Green cannot say another thing about Nicki and cocaine, or her child, or even retweet comments about the rapper doing anything illegal. Each violation will reportedly cost Green $50,000.Green posted her original comments, for which she has now admitted she had no evidence, in a video on September 12, 2022.
