She recounted that her grandmother’s perfume collection was unlike the “traditional grandma scents,” instead rich with Armenian characteristics like roses, lavender, herbs, and incense.
“I used to sneak into her bathroom and spray them, but most were empty—only air would come out,” Khloé laughed.
Personalization and a Turning Point in Her Career
Previously, Khloé participated in fragrance projects with her family members, such as KKW Diamonds or collaborations with ex-husband Lamar Odom in Unbreakable. However, XO Khloé is her first solo project, where she had full creative control to express herself.
“Before, the fragrances I was involved in were collaborations—not entirely my vision or creativity, and there were certain parameters. With this perfume, it’s all me, and it was a very vulnerable creative process,” she shared.
Khloé wants XO Khloé to reflect who she is at this moment—a woman entering her 40s with confidence, maturity, and a desire for exploration.
“I wanted to take risks in my 40s. This fragrance was very thought out—and it reflects where I am in life right now.”

“I just want people to feel luxurious, sexy, confident, and just enhance their own beauty,” she said.

“I was so intentional about the bottle being clear because I wanted people to see through me and see me for who I am.”

Although XO Khloé leans lighter than traditional Armenian perfumes, she hints at incorporating more cultural influences in future releases.
“I want to make a bottle that’s representative of what I remember seeing on my grandma’s counter. She will be the inspiration or have some part of it, so it will be a little more old-school feel,” Khloé shared.
