Love her or hate her (and don’t “hate” her, it’s just Big Brother, after all), Lily Benson was one of the most unforgettable contestants on Big Brother 2024. From the moment she walked into the house, she quickly became a staple of the season, bringing all the drama, the laughs, and a little bit of chaos along the way. Big Brother's Lily: her age, job, and where she's from

Sure, she might not have been the easiest person to live with (or so the Big Brother producers would have us believe), but there’s no denying she stayed true to herself from start to finish. Could you say the same at just 20 years old? It’s a tough one. Yet, despite her fiery personality, Lily never backed down from being unapologetically herself, and that’s something to be admired.

This week, Lily was evicted from the Big Brother house. It came as a shock to many fans, as she had formed one of the most compelling and entertaining dynamics with fellow contestant Ali Bromley. Despite the controversial moments and multiple twists, this duo’s friendship was undeniable. They were constantly seen hyping each other up, and it was clear that their bond had grown to be something incredibly special.

So, when heatworld caught up with Lily a few days after her eviction, we couldn’t resist asking her about her time on the show, her relationship with Ali, and, of course, her plans for the Big Brother final.

The Unlikely Duo: Ali and Lily

If you’re a fan of the show, then you already know that one of the most unlikely friendships formed in the Big Brother house was between Lily and Ali. While their personalities couldn’t be more different—Lily with her bold, in-your-face attitude and Ali with her quieter, more enigmatic aura—the two bonded over their shared experiences in the house, navigating the challenges and twists together.

Throughout the season, they became nearly inseparable, and Ali, who had been dubbed “The Red Witch” by her fellow housemates, was consistently seen supporting Lily in all her dramatic moments. This friendship was the perfect balance of light and dark, making them one of the most intriguing and lovable pairs in Big Brother history.

When we asked Lily who she wanted to win the series, she wasted no time in shouting, “THE RED WITCH!”—and it wasn’t a surprise. Over the course of their time together, the two had become thick as thieves. Their bond was unshakable, and it was clear that Lily’s loyalty to Ali was unwavering.

Lily went on to explain her plans for the final in the most hilarious and typically Lily way possible. “Oh my God, I have a whole plan! I’m going to make a sign, and before the final, I’m going to hold the sign up for Ali,” Lily exclaimed. “And I’m going to wear a red cloak. Yes, I’m doing it. I don’t care if I look ridiculous—I want to be The Red Witch’s biggest cheerleader!”

The Red Witch Look

Of course, when we suggested that Lily dress up as “The Red Witch,” she didn’t hesitate to get into the spirit. “Oh my God, stop, you’re actually planting ideas in my head now,” she said, already imagining the possibilities. “I actually don’t give a sht. I would dress up as The Red Witch for the final. Like, I actually don’t care if I look good or not. I couldn’t give a sht. I’m doing it!” It was clear that Lily was ready to go all in on supporting her bestie, no matter how wild the idea seemed.

If you’ve been watching the show, you know that Ali’s “Red Witch” persona became one of the most iconic moments of the season. With her love for all things witchy, Ali had a unique, magnetic energy that kept viewers on the edge of their seats. And now, with Lily ready to support her in the final, it looks like the Red Witch is about to have her own personal cheerleader in the most Big Brother way possible.

Meeting Ali’s Girlfriend, Family, and Getting Adopted

After her eviction, Lily was quick to meet up with Ali’s family and partner, as well. “Yes, I met them the day after I came out. Ali’s girlfriend, her sister, and her niece couldn’t wait to meet me,” Lily shared with us. “It was so lovely. We’ve all been through this together, and their families have met at evictions and Late and Live events, so it was like everyone already knew each other.”

And in typical Lily fashion, she quickly made herself at home with Ali’s loved ones. “Ali said I’m like her girlfriend because her actual girlfriend is like a golden retriever—so sweet and lovely,” Lily laughed. “I love her girlfriend. I love her family. Honestly, they’ve adopted me. I’m adopted now.”

This heartwarming moment highlights just how much Lily and Ali’s relationship has blossomed into something much more than just a friendship. It’s a bond that transcends the house, with their families connecting and supporting one another as if they had been friends for years. It’s a testament to how powerful the bonds formed in Big Brother can be, even when they begin under the most unconventional of circumstances.

Lily’s relationship with Ali and her family is a reminder that, sometimes, the most unexpected connections can turn into the most meaningful friendships. And while her time on the show may have been brief, it’s clear that Lily has made a lasting impression on the people around her, and she has certainly found a lifelong best friend in Ali.

The Loud, Proud, and Loveable Lily

If we learned anything from watching Lily on Big Brother, it’s that she doesn’t apologize for being herself. She’s loud, she’s proud, and she’s never afraid to say what’s on her mind. While her time on the show may not have earned her a spot in the final, it certainly made her one of the most memorable contestants of the season.

Lily’s unapologetic personality, her ability to stir up drama, and her hilarious interactions with Ali made her an absolute standout on Big Brother 2024. Whether she was shouting her support for Ali or cracking jokes about her time in the house, Lily brought an energy that kept viewers coming back for more.

As for her future? Well, we wouldn’t be surprised if we see Lily making a comeback on reality TV in the future. After all, if there’s one thing we know about Lily Benson, it’s that she’s got a personality that’s too big to fade into the background.
